Welcome to Genia Health AI, a web-based screening platform operated by GMedCC, a company registered in Indonesia. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Genia Health AI, we collect the following information:

a. Personal Information

During registration, you are required to provide:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Password (stored securely with hashing, see Section 5)

b. Health Information

When using the platform, you will be asked to complete a mini assessment questionnaire about your symptoms to determine your eligibility for AI-based screening.

c. Cookies and Session Information

We use cookies to manage active sessions. A session cookie (session_id) is stored in your browser and will remain valid for 3 hours. If no activity is detected within that period, the cookie will automatically expire and a new session will be created upon your next login. This improves security and reduces risks from users forgetting to log out.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your user account
  • To determine eligibility for using the AI tool
  • To provide personalized AI-generated health screening feedback
  • To manage session authentication
  • To process payments and provide receipts
  • To improve our services and platform performance
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. As of now, no third-party APIs or services are directly integrated with the backend system.

3. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored securely on cloud servers hosted by Contabo (Singapore).

Passwords are securely hashed using the bcrypt algorithm, ensuring that even in the event of a data breach, plain text passwords are not exposed.

Uploaded images (if any in future) are automatically renamed with random UUID-based filenames, making them untraceable or guessable by other users.

All data transfer and storage follow standard industry security practices.

4. User Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and review your personal data
  • Request corrections to inaccurate information
  • Withdraw consent (which may limit your ability to use our services)

Note: The option to delete your account is not yet available. This feature will be implemented in a future update.

5. Account Protection

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Do not share your password with others. Your password is never stored in plain text and is protected using the bcrypt hashing algorithm. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal and health data as long as your account is active or as required by law or internal operational needs.

As account deletion is not yet supported, your data will remain on our systems until this feature becomes available or until a legal request is made.

7. Payment Information

Our platform operates on a one-time use payment model:

  • IDR 30,000 for users in Indonesia
  • AUD 9.99 for users outside Indonesia

Payment processing is handled via third-party payment gateways in this case Midrtrans, Wise, and Paypal. Genia Health AI does not store any payment or credit card information directly.

8. Use by Children

Our platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect or store data from individuals under 18 years of age.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on cloud servers located in Singapore. By using our platform, you consent to this cross-border data storage and processing.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of our services constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
